  Came here the other night for dinner. Had a NY strip that was very good. Not to be confused with a Ruth's Chris steak but very good.  
  
  Sat at bar and bartender (Kelly?) was a no BS type of person.  Friendly banter with all
  
  Only disappointment was that the relish tray is no more.  I always thought that was cool.
  
  Will still keep coming back even without

  I've come to Sunset more times than I can count over the years. The majority of the times, I've sat at the bar in the back lounge. Great bartenders and not as crowded as the restaurant and front bar. The restaurant gets crazy crowded! People come from all over to Sunset. They've won numerous awards for the cream of crab soup. It's served with a side of sherry. Cream of crab isn't my thing but most really like it.
  
  I came on a recent Sunday with a couple girlfriends and sat in the restaurant. Our server was very personable and attentive. Both of my friends had cream of crab which they loved. Fresh bread and butter is brought to the table. If you order entrees, a relish tray is brought as well. An assortment of crackers, pickles, olives, carrot sticks, celery and two different types of cream cheese. Port wine and a herb cheese.
  
  I had Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli. A little on the rich side but very good. One gf had Lobster tail and loved it. She had a side of stewed tomatoes which she said she had been craving Sunsets and they did not disappoint. My other gf had fried oysters. She said they were cooked perfectly and delicious.
  
  Great girls lunch out!

  We saw two roaches. One on the wall another on a chair, so you know there's more than that. Once we saw that we called the manager and left. She claimed the exterminator was there this morning and apologized. There was also no host, we had to go hunt for one at the bar. Definitely not coming back and definitely don't recommend.

  Dated venue for sure, but in a good way, for me at least. I enjoyed the throwback ambience along with service details that you do not typically see much anymore like cheese crock with crackers and sherry served on the side with the cream of crab. The cream of crab was excellent. The server was helpful, nice and efficient. Overall excellent experience with a bit of a knock because the entrees were good but not great.

  Called about the special today Liver and onions to go, 11:10 says they are OUT when the open at 11:00, says didn't make enough last night/.
  AWFUL restaurant, use to like this place no more
